Several publications authored by me on Sri Vikrama Rajasinha have been released in recent times. While a comprehensive academic publication on Sri Vikrama Rajasinha's imprisoned life is anticipated in the near future, the upcoming release of Granville's Diary serves as a significant first step toward that goal.
William Granville, a British civil servant, was responsible for overseeing the king and his family during their voyage into exile from Colombo to Pulicat. Acting on the governor's instructions, Granville maintained a journal documenting key events of the journey. This journal contains not only significant but also sensitive information about Sri Vikrama Rajasinha.

I plan to republish the original text as part of a new edition, which will include a Sinhala translation for a wider readership. This edition will also feature detailed annotations and an analytical article written by me in English, offering a critical exploration of Granville's account and its historical importance.
