While a comprehensive academic publication on Sri Vikrama Rajasinha's imprisoned life is anticipated in the near future, the upcoming release of Granville's Diary serves as a significant first step toward that goal. William Granville, a British civil servant, was responsible for overseeing the king and his family during their voyage into exile from Colombo to Pulicat. Acting on the governor's instructions, Granville maintained a journal documenting key events of the journey. This journal contains not only significant but also sensitive information about Sri Vikrama Rajasinha. Originally published in 1930 as 𝘑𝘖𝘜𝘙𝘕𝘈𝘓 𝘖𝘍 𝘙𝘌𝘔𝘐𝘕𝘐𝘚𝘊𝘌𝘕𝘊𝘌𝘚 𝘙𝘌𝘓𝘈𝘛𝘐𝘝𝘌 𝘛𝘖 𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘓𝘈𝘛𝘌 𝘒𝘐𝘕𝘎 ...
